| A 上表中括号内是简略形式。一周的每天和12个月份的名称的头一个字母必须要大写。日期要用序数词来表示，所以在口语中说：March the tenth／the tenth of March 3月10日另外，它们有许多种写法，如March the tenth可写成：March 10 10 March 10th of MarchMarch 10th 10th March March the 10thB 公元的纪年在读或写公元的纪年时，用hundred作单位而不用thousand。1987年可读做 nineteen hundred and eighty－seven或略去hun- dred而读做nineteen eighty－seven。在公元前的纪年后面加BC（=Before Christ基督降生前）。公元以后的纪年有时可以在前面加上AD（=Anno Domini，inthe year of the Lord耶稣纪元或公元）。一般读法有两种：1500 BC可读做one thousand five hundred BC或 fifteen hun- dred BC。 |
